Passwordless Admin Client Login
As a user, people want to be able to login to the products admin client without entering a password. Dev teams worked on some changes to enable this type of “passwordless” login to the Admin Client which the design team supported with designs and user flows.
The first task for this story was updating the Administrative Client login module. We added a way for a user to indicate that they would like to authenticate using a URL or code and then proceed with that code via hyperlink to a web page.
The second UI task completed was creating a follow-up page with an "Log in" / "Cancel" kind of mechanism to complete the process. This page opens with the code requested from the Admin Client pre-populated in the Login code input field. User clicks Log In from this page to gain access to the Admin Module.
simulated system date design
The simulated System Date Design interface is a dialog accessible via the preferences panel on desktop or mobile that allows Solutions Consultants to change the date that the system thinks it is, so they can efficiently demo various scenarios in the system that are time/date based.
The simulated System Date Design interface is a hidden dialog that has been updated to follow the look and feel of the current WorkForce Suite and is accessible on desktop in the Preferences panel and configured dates are activated with keyboard commands. It meets the following criteria:
A sufficiently-informed Solutions Consultant can change the date of the system to any date they want
The link to edit the System Date Configurations is only accessible/viewable to Solutions Consultants or authorized users
The design isn’t distracting to the person receiving the demo
This functionality can be accessed quickly, as to not be excessively difficult to perform in front of a room of 10+ people
Low-fidelity designs for how this works, including how a user accesses it are available below.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS FOR GROUP MESSAGING
“Group Messaging” is a one-way communication from managers or administrators, that currently can be sent to users via Email, SMS, or a message at the terminal. We’re adding the Assistant as a destination as part of this effort.
Group message is a read-only card, with the receiving employee only able to dismiss the card.
